Tandem works as a lean-to furniture, to assist functions that would normally require standing by the user, such as standing desks, workshop work, etc, by providing a means to lean against and being able to alleviate some weight off the feet, allowing for a more relaxed posture.
The structure works in tandem with the user, having the weight of the user act synchronously with the horizontal tensile member in order to maintain its stability, when in use.
